Hello Sisters,

I wanted to let you know about a couple of important recycling events coming up in the near future.  This information is for Union County residents only.  (For Essex County residents, see end of post).

ELECTRONICS RECYCLING collection:
Saturday, June 22, 2013 – Union County Vo-Tech, Scotch Plains- directly across the street from the stake center, 9AM-2PM

If you miss this one, there will be another event on Saturday, September 21, 2013 – Union County College, Cranford, 9AM-2PM

HAZARDOUS WASTE RECYCLING collection:
Saturday, June 1, 2013 – Union County College, Cranford, 9AM-2PM
Saturday, August 3, 2013 – Union County Vo-Tech, Scotch Plains, 9AM-2PM

Please remember that it is not only against the law in New Jersey to throw away electronics and hazardous materials, but doing so also very seriously and negatively impacts the amount of pollutants in the landfills and potentially the groundwater.  Please take advantage of our state's commitment to safe collection and recycling of these materials.
