Freezing Eggs - Food Storage Tip

From Crystal Ross:

Hello ladies,
I was reading an article in Weight Watchers magazine and it gave information on foods that you can freeze including milk and eggs!  I had no idea.  Thought I would pass it along since we've discussed how to store eggs.  Here's the info...

MILK
"In general, fat-free milk freezes better than whole, since the fat in milk tends to separate when frozen.  Try not to keep milk in the freezer for more than 3 months since it easily absorbs other flavors..."

BREAD
"To freeze bread for a few months, seal it tightly in plastic wrap and then in foil, and place it in a zip-close plastic bag."

EGGS
"To freeze eggs, crack them open into a bowl and break up yolks by stirring.  Pour into ice cube trays and freeze overnight.  Transfer egg "cubes" to an airtight conatiner and store for up to a year."

BONUS
"You can thaw the cubes individually and make as many servings of eggs as you need.  A few foods that don't freeze well are cottage cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise; the cold temperature impacts their consistency."
